Rapp Park
Rapp Park is made up of approximately 207 acres next to the East Nishnabotna River and was purchased in 2007 by the conservation board. The park was originally a rock quarry site so there are many great fishing opportunities. There is also about 2.5 miles of trails around the park. Rapp is a wonderful park for bird watching all year round.
West Access - 1724 Ave. A, Shenandoah, IA 51601
East Access - 1769 HWY 48, Shenandoah, IA 51601
There is also a river access to the East Nishnabotna located at the north of the park.

Camping

Sites 1-12 are electric and water hook-up.

Sites 13-14 are primitive

Electric sites have 50/30/20 amp receptacles

The campground has a restroom but no showers

A fire-ring and picnic table are provided at each campsite​

Electric/water sites are $15 per night

Primitive sites are $6 per night

Shelters
There are 3 shelters located at Rapp Park that have picnic tables, trash can, and a cooking grill. Each shelter is reservable with a fee of $20. You can call the conservation office to reserve a shelter.
